Roy, hoping whatever you got, ends up being a mild case.
Ted, Don, sorry about your knees. A twisted thought in my head was you two attempting a sack race together....not. Sorry. You both know we want you both up to full power. Don, congrats on the cards. Does a bum knee mess up hand and foot? I wouldn't know.
Buckeyefarmer.....or should that be Bushwackfarmer for a few days??? Hope your back gets better. I need a haircut, but maybe I'll go to my regular barber.
RNG, even our weather man said there was a big heatwave in California's central area...probably the desert. Hope you found cooler weather. Is your airhead putting out enough wattage?
Crumpelt Stiltskin sitrep: I drove it to work today, and at lunch I went to the junkyard to see a couple of malibus they have there. Each has body parts I could use, but both are wrong color. Has me thinking of changing color maybe someday....but I don't want to change underside color, so it would be a half baked job, not concourse of course. It might be a primer gray roadster for a while. I Love going to junkyards, not sure why. Anyway this junkyard is a "BYOT" bring your own tools and pick the parts you need yourself type. Glad I got my new Milwaukee tools, they'll come in handy for this.
My daughter went horseback riding last night with her friend (who has the horses)....Ding bats both rode into deep floodwaters on the back of their property..."To let the horses swim".... My daughter ends up riding alongside a submerged barbed wire fence, and scratched the blank out of her bare leg. We came home, used antibacterial soap, and then we rubbed it up and down with hydrogen peroxide, which will kill flesh eating virus, hopefully and prayed. She is on an antibiotic already for her acne. I'm pretty sure this will leave permanent scars on her leg. She has a "placating" type of mentality, meaning she can't or won't tell somebody "No" when it comes to doing stupid stuff. She's already been thrown off of this 12 yo female horse once, landing flat on her back. I wonder if I should just tell her no more horseback riding....
I put a new gas cap on the Steiner Beast. Something had chewed or the sun had cracked up the clear bezel when I picked it up. I had been using the old cap with a ziplock bag for a liner to keep the rain out....Walmart had 1 on the clearance aisle for $3. and I figured I'd take a shot that it might fit. Yep. $3 puts it dangerously close to a sum total of $500 (or did I already go over that....lol.) Not complaining. 25 diesel hp kubota engine, hydrostatic, HD 72" finish mower, power steering machine. I did manage to find a soft patch of muck to stick it in, fortunately only about 150 feet from my other tractors. It is still very wet here, and more coming daily this week. I probably mowed about 1.5 acres with it, in between a group of trees, then I switched to the 4WD tractor and mowed another 2 acres..
David, I'm enjoying your hard work progress. Good find on the cabinets. I vote for an external vent, but we don't have a constant 75F sea breeze to depend on here. I use ours in the summer to exhaust heat from our home, or bad food odors like broccoli.
PJS, nice pics, glad you're enjoying the kayaks. Just don't get caught out too far when a storm comes through.
Prayers for our team, and our country.
