33 now and light snow, expecting 1-2” of snow and covered with a glaze of ice.

Took the ranger for a spin in the snow. That was fun, but cold. Lots of tracks down by the creek.

The cold predictions keep getting colder. Now they are predicting 3˚F for Tuesday before it starts to warm. It has been below freezing now for 24 hours. They really missed the icy conditions and it caught a lot of people off guard both in Forth Worth and Austin. 30-130 car pile-ups.

Sadamo, The Tempest Weather station is still recording rainfall (and everything else) even though it is covered in ice. It is doing better than the Cocorahs rain gauge which has frozen up at the funnel.
