We got another couple inches overnight and today. I will deal with it tomorrow as well. I love being semi-retired, at least in winter.
I was just talking to the young lad that hauls with me in the summer, he has to load tonight on the north shore of Lake Erie. Nanticoke is an Imperial Oil facility, he is hauling tar out of there to Hawkesbury, ON down there near Cornwall, ON.
He is gonna freeze his but off, his claim. The temperature is only 10°F and not much wind. He'll be fine.
I am having the devils own time trying to get the pics I took off my phone. Then I gotta resize them and fight with TBN to get them posted.
I might get them done tonight.

The promised pictures
The top of this old woodstove is about 3' off the ground.
This is the hole the right side was in, there was only one lug on the left side still up on the hard pack. The entire right side was about 2' lower. I will remedy that little problem in spring right after 1/2 load season is done.
We got a little close (about 2" to spare) from the back corner of the Jeep garage/tent. The good thing is that before I put up that shelter I had built a floor out of 4x4s and 2x8s. The garage is centered on 16' lumber and the 4x4s run up both sides and there are two more where the wheel tracks would be. As soon as the chains bit into the wood, I was out of there. But getting to that point required a tow truck and a winch.
While I was outside this morning, I also took a look at the tractor and it doesn't seem to be any the worse for wear. I will find out for sure tomorrow when I plow again.

23F light falling snow 1 1/2"so far more snow to fall over night.
Got everything I wanted done and than some more,try to take nap but both decided to join me and they slept well.
Mrs. said fry chicken wings about ready :licking: soooo I gotta scoot.

A lot of what we got melted, but now it’s 31° and the wind is cold. Got 2 weeks of trash set out, and recycling. Hope they come tomorrow. Refreeze ice on the drive.
Went ahead and swapped pallet forks on tractor and stocked pellets on the porch. Good for 16 days now.
Spent most of afternoon cleaning up hard drive files. Even turned on my old win7 desktop and found some pictures I didn’t have in my master copy.
My 3 TB backup drive on the win7 isn’t working. Not my only backup, but will replace it to have redundancy to my redundancy.
I heard there’s a game on tonight.
