Roy.
The 4052 has the filler on the left rear fender...about 4.5-5 feet off the ground. Since I don't have the upper body strength on my right side (since the stroke), it's going to be a bit more difficult to fill the tank. I guess I'm going to have to get either some type of pump or siphoning device so I can leave the container on the driveway surface. The previous tractor, a 4520, had the filler just forward of the cab window so I could rest the container on the hood while filling the tank.

Maybe something like this would help until you finally decide.

Amazon.com: TERAPUMP 3rd Gen - No More Gas Can Lifting/Fuel Transfer Pump Fitting numerous Gas Cans (Advanced Auto-Stop Function and Flexible in and Out Take Hose): Automotive

Definitely going to look in to that! Thank you!!!
Hope it fits No-Spill containers...

Update:
Well, I ordered one...should get it this coming Friday...hope it works as advertised...

-10 right now...wow!
High today a toasty (comparatively speaking) 21

Looks like we'll get a piece of the winter storm tomorrow into Tuesday or Wednesday... Not expecting what the mid-Atlantic states will be getting, but still significant

No plans today...

Thank’s that is much easier to interpret. It looks like the median loop temp is in the upper 30’s when it’s running. I would think that is below the sweet spot for a heat pump, but I have very little experience with a closed loop system.

I don’t put much stock in the loop temp reading itself, as the probes are not attached in a way to get a good reading. One of those last minute additions as I put the loops in. They do give an idea of what’s going on, you definitely know when the unit shuts off. Lol
I could use the ports and take a temperature reading.
For closed loop, once the loop temp gets cold, there isn’t as much delta T recovery, especially in a cold spell like now. It’s still better than air system. A good sunny day does help warm the ground and helps the loops.
Not too many people have the luxury of a pump and dump system, that’s a lot of water to get rid of.
My geothermal instructor, when I took the installer course, has that type of system.

Also, I did a manual J on my house when I installed them, put a 3 ton downstairs and 2 ton upstairs. The downstairs was off half the day yesterday, while the upstairs runs about full time. The units should be swapped but I’m not going to.
In all I like the units and would definitely use them again.

Snow just started, few minutes ago none, now driveway is already coated.

I’ve got a modulating water valve that adjusts to maintain a delta T of 10 degrees, which results in 3.5 GPM in the first compressor stage and almost 6GPM when the second stage kicks in. My typical duct temps are about 110 at the registers. House is 3000 square feet, and very well insulated with urethane foam. Unit is 2-1/2 tons with no backup heat.
The shop is a 3-1/2 ton air to air 16 seer with a 100K propane furnace for backup. It’s also foam insulated, but almost twice the size of the house.

That is a well insulated house. I have an electric heat coil backup for my downstairs unit, but never hooked it up. That unit barely hits 2nd stage, so far .9 hrs this month.

If I build again, money is going into insulation.

Good morning! Humidity 59%, 47˚F heading to the mid 60s, clear skies wind changed now a North wind and 12 degrees cooler than yesterday.

Time to start getting the yard ready for spring, scalp it and fertilize it. I also need to round up some seed potatoes for the end of February planting. The yard is still brown but the grass next to the driveway is green from the warm cement and needs edging.

My neighbor was complaining she was so dehydrated all the time, I told her to drink more water but instead she called the AC company to install a whole house humidifier. I believe she will have a mold problem now. We run our stand alone dehumidifier for a while daily. We cook a lot, she does not is the only difference since the houses are similar.

28F and cloudy @ 09:00 with just barely a trace of snow coming down in the air. Looks like we got a good dusting overnight, probably less than an inch. Local weather guessers are call for 2" - 3" where we're at here, which is just fine with me.

Hundreds of black birds out at feeders this morning along with a few cardinals/others and a few squirrels. Squirrels are looking plump for the most part.

Got to watch first movie in UHD last night, looked great ... was kinda surprised that it could stream across wi-fi.

No big plans for the day, beyond picking grocery order this afternoon ... but I'm sure I'll find something to get into.

Best wishes for improvements for those having various difficulties.

Stay warm and safe.

30 outside with high expected to be in the upper 30's. Snowing...has been for a few hours. Looks like 3 inches already. Grass and pastures are covered. From where I sit in the house I can see all compass directions with various angles of snow coming down. The barn roof has blended into the sky perfectly with only the lightening rods showing. The bird feeders in the front are getting visited frequently with the birds darting back and forth from the bushes. Should be a great day for a walk with this nice blanket of white.

Managed to get groceries yesterday. And got to the feed store. A full bed and cab of food and goodies for all.

Dismayed to see so many without masks.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe and stay healthy my friends.
