I only had one girl friend and wife in over 60 years.

I suspect I'm not the only one here envious of such success. I'm sure my life would have been significantly different had I stuck with and married this one the first time. 19-year-old boys don't always make smart relationship decisions.

Good morning to all! Low of 30 going up to 46 today. Yesterday made it to 34. A chance of rain / snow shower today, no big amounts.

Eric, beautiful pic. Is that the small pond that you were working on during the summer?.... if it is, sure got bigger! I don't see any sheep... are they just in white camo?

Sorry to hear about all the COVID deaths and illness. Even though the vaccine is slowly getting delivered, this is still going to get worse. I don't think ANY of the powers -that -be, even realized, or just ignored, this pandemic..... sort of a "that can't happen here" attitude. They couldn't really push the "panic button" either... just imagine the crowds in the stores if they did.... da**ed if they do... da**ed if they don't..... There is only so much pre-planning that can be done.... too many cogs in the machine... if one fails, well, we know the outcome.

I haven't been out to the shop for a few days.... going to try today. Almost have to... been getting stiff just hanging around in the house. Need to keep those muscles working. Shouldn't be too cold out there today. I need to get a bigger heater....

Like certain people saying they don’t trust the vaccine for months, because certain other people were responsible for the vaccine getting produced 3-5 years sooner than those people said was possible.

Plus, has anyone noticed the efficiency of most government run projects? Some states are doing quite well, why not use their model instead of the big cumbersome federal government.
The states had months to prepare.

You have to ask yourself .. where was Amazon and their great plan, two months ago? Seems suspect that .. the day after the inauguration .. they're ready to help? Hmmm?

Was Amazon concerned that, earlier involvement, might result in helping out .. "certain other people"??

I got my vaccination appointment! January 30 in one of the next door counties.
When I started sign up there were39 appointments available, when I got confirmed I looked back and there were zero. I guess I got lucky.

Got down to a chili 20 at 5 this morning, 41 now and 51 later. Cloudy right now.

I need to get my propane tanks filled for the shop heater, I’ve got a very little in one tank and the other is empty. I’m too big a sissy to work in a cold garage.

Wngsprd, I'm keeping an eye open for a roaster sometime in the future. Are the turning drum roasters the way to go for an even roast.
