Will surely sanitize coming out of there and stay away from everyone.

also need to get oil change on Audi, my neighbor said the light came on, but it's from time, not mileage.
I wonder if dealership which is a mile away will come get the car, service it and bring it back to me. Going to call them and ask.
Just trying to stay out of public places.

Hope your car shows up as expected, Drew. I wonder if you've asked what you have to do to get back into the facility after you've been out among the great unwashed. Will they quarantine you for two weeks?

and if Audi will come get my car for service, I won't have to leave here. I went into service dept voice mail, no surprise and they haven't called back.

And I now have wheels...my neighbors even washed my car before they delivered it a few minutes ago.

interesting mail they brought with them. Annoyed that overpayment to Suddenlink for internet access was refunded by way of a credit card, not a check.
this way of course they hope I'll forget about having the card and they pocket the savings. And of course it won't work at an ATM so I can't cash it out...

rest of mail was an eye opener. Got two more This is Not A Bill statements from Vidant hospital. Total now for 34 days in hospital including rehab
is $249,000 wow wow wow I've never seen any of the original billing, no way to know what is real or not. One thing for sure, if they expect me to pay a penny for that, and so far with Medicare/BC/BS best plan I haven't, I'm asking for every piece of paperwork they have. Of course what they get paid is another story, what insurance allows.
I'm guessing 150K will get paid, will only know when the BC/BS statements come in. I want the What You Owe to equal 0, of course
I have cost the insurance companies a remarkable amount of money in the last year, wonder if there is a lifetime cap?...

That really po's me, if someone went in the hospital for some minor issue with no insurance they would get charged and be expected to pay an outrageous amount,
but the insurances can pay just a small portion and thats fine.
If it's good enough for the insurance thats what the bill should have been in the first place.
They need to get rid of this inflated prices and charge a reasonable amount and get paid that from insurers and the fed government medicare and medicaid.

when this happened to me for an uncovered bill with same hospital, different location, I called up to complain.
I was told one only had to ask for it and they would reduce the bill by one third. Really? And what about the senior citizens and others
who didn't know to ask??? Worse is they will put a lien on you without batting an eye.

When I lived in Ga, neighbor across the street did small appliance repair. Not poor enough for medicaid etc but not rich enough to carry own insurance. I know of 2 instances where he and wife had extended stays in hospital. Both resulting in sizeable bill, info shared in neighborhood and in both cases completely forgiven. They were never worried, expected the results.

Drew, when I had my valve replaced I was at the hospital for 24 hours, my bill was $79000 and some change. It’s amazing.

Hey Drew, might even say heartless. When Sophie had her car accident the hospital filed a lien and I got copy in mail just days after she got out of ICU. And they already knew we had insurance.
