Good Morning!!!! 64F @ 4:30AM. Partly cloudy. High 84F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Googling the model number of the pendent turned up
this page on it, with a banner at the top for an inexpensive monitoring option.
Hope the move goes well, Drew, and your rapid recovery continues. Love the Mamas & Papas, but I'm more of a California Dreamin' kinda guy.:cloud9:
Here's to 14 days in jail for the CA morons, David. Or just put 'em on the next plane for Seattle's new country so they can join the rest of the anarchists.:grumpy:
If the squirrel hunting's no good, Kyle, at least you know what to bait a trap with now.
Nice heron shot, Ron. Are those bubbles on the water surface?
Got the pipe bushings at Tractor Supply yesterday morning, and half the draw pins I needed, but they didn't have the top link pins that I ordered. Clerk said it's not uncommon that their physical inventory doesn't agree with what the computer thinks is in stock, and blamed shoplifters. So there you have it, tractor owners so desperate for three point parts that they'll resort to stealing. Far more likely that the clerks aren't doing their jobs to keep the inventory numbers accurate, don't you think?

Used the bushings to install the quick couplers on the grapple, and got it mounted to the FEL. Guessed correctly on which one went where and ended up with the grapple opening when the right side of the rocker switch is pressed. Attacked a small tree stump with it, but even though the grapple did take a few chunks out of it, the stump proved more in need of the backhoe. But it did a real nice job of scraping the dead weeds off around the stump, and scooped them all up in one easy grab. Also had no problems picking up and moving a pretty good sized chunk of oak tree trunk, and getting that out of the way. Too bad it's getting so dry I'm afraid to do more with it for fear of starting a fire.
The movie I recorded yesterday didn't have any sound, so I figured out what went wrong and caught another showing. While that was going on, I dug out the documentation on the lathe and figured out why one of the digital read outs wasn't working properly, a project I'd been putting off for months. And while looking for the lathe docs, I sorted through a foot high pile of manuals and instruction sheets that had accumulated on the workbench over the past ten years. Threw out about half of it, filed the rest away, and found space in the book cases for the manuals.
Today looks like a good day to move the firetruck and finish grading the side yard. The hooks to make up new bungee cords for the tarp are in, so I'll swap out the ratchet straps that are on there now at the same time. And should probably clean the pine needles out of the gutters and make a pass around the house moving flammables into storage or onto brush piles. Last week the county banned all burning, and there are already several thousand acre plus fires burning in other parts of the state.
Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start!
