Boy...I thought my lawn was big! How many acres is that, Buckeye?

I mow about 4.5 acres. The open field close to 3 acres, was a hay field for years. No one wants to do the hay now. I used to mow about once or twice a year with finish mower on tractor(which takes about 3 mowings mowing lower each time). Then I started mowing once a month with finish mower to keep it shorter. This year with ZT I’ve been mowing weekly.

The seat suspension went on pretty easy. Had to figure best way to get wires for seat switch to reach. Had to put it on loosely unbolt top of seat to reach in to connect the cable.

Time to pour second cup of coffee. 32ー with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 48ー with cloudy skies. 1" of rain yesterday. My shopping trip to Menards went well yesterday. About 20 shoppers in store. All with mask, gloves and social distancing. I got all I needed including milk. Which meant only one stop while out. One more day of dog therapy for me.
I did get a picture of Flower Moon last week. But forgot to post it. Lots of good pictures lately. Hard to pick which ones to post.

Mostly, not sure why photo did not display. Maybe a carry over from last weeks site problems. Here it is. Clicking on the link brings them up on my PC. They are displayed on my iPad.

Buckeye, great video's. Weather has not been my friend for drone flights. Want to get out and try iPad mini, mount and software. Safe travels.

RNG, Making progress. Hope solar assembly goes good. Saw this picture yesterday. :D Some furniture for your van.

Good Morning!!!! 57F @ 4:45AM. Mostly sunny skies this morning will give way to cloudy skies and rain during the afternoon. High 74F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

I think there's gonna be a little population bubble spring up in the next nine months, Don...

Good luck with that clutch today, David. How do you set the break away torque?

Ol' Tom'll just have to keep tryin', eh Thomas?

The photos you posted are showing as links, and don't work for me on my Mac laptop either, Ron. More TBN funnies?

What I'm feeling is more like relief, Eric, as most of the hard work is done, most of the money spent, and hopefully getting it all up and running in the next few weeks will see completion before the wildfire season gets into full swing.

After an extended round of head scratching and measuring, I was able to get the first three cross braces cut to length and installed yesterday. It was the cut to length part that took all the figuring, but mocking up the fit with short lengths of pipe let me come up with the right answer. These bits, about 80" long, were small enough I could carry them by hand; the rest are 16'-18' will need the forks on the tractor to be moved. And I still need to figure out how to take the backhoe off the new tractor; hopefully I can get some help with that today when I pick up the 3PH and other parts at the Medford Kubota dealer. And since I'll be in sales tax free Oregon, I'll also drop by Walmart and buy a starter battery for the generator, and maybe some hand sanitizer if they have any. Then Tractor Supply for some by-the-pound fasteners. And finally, a fillup of #2 Diesel, also much less expensive up there. Two hundred fifty miles each way, so I'm up early to get a head start on the day.

Good morning! A bright sunlight morning but cool 52˚F morning, and a warm 80s this afternoon with humidity coming in the virus will be struggling in
Texas.
Nice Z action BEF even in windy conditions but I do not see a lot of grass being cut with those weekly mowings, but it does seem to make the grass thicker and where are your weeds and spring flowers?

Ron and RNG the pics are not visible, bummer.

I need to sharpen my chain saw chain today I did a good job last week as I zipped through the cedars. Between FireWise, tractor garden mulch moving and Park oak tree freeing and recovery time my week is full. Several rain fronts are heading this way so some cancelations are possible.

Drew I would first find a way that you can load and unload a mobil chair. My BIL has a van that a ramp come out from the side of his van and then he clamps down in front of the steering wheel never having to get off. Yesterday I saw a fold up bumper carrier on back of a car that would work with no lifting and only stuck out about 18 inches when folded up.

I got to get one of those suspension kits!!
Now, that's a task I should have done over the weekend (measuring my seat's bolt pattern and ordering the kit)

46 outside this AM, heading to upper 50's. Rain moved through a little while ago. Parts of my fields are mush.

I attempted to cut part of the back forty yesterday, yeah..I got seat time on her tractor. LOL. Made it half-way down the fence line and abandoned the effort as I was a good foot in the mud with the tractor. Looks like I am going to have to introduce some drain tiles to that area. And it looks like a middle of summer job.

I was depressed after that, so I washed the tractor and parked it. Then, I decided to go spray poison ivy just to feel like I accomplished something.

Need to start thinking about the front porch again. Need a dumpster for all the glass that's coming out. Need to take the fence down in the front yard for the dumpster... so many plans... should just hire it out and be done with it. LOL.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Love the lines BEF.

Doesn’t look like it in video, but was cutting 3” growth from last week. Hated to mow the pretty buttercups.
