Good morning!!!!

Missed yesterday’s party, but I’m here today. 54 going to 65 they say, supposed to be cloudy this morning and overcast this afternoon, but right now it’s bright and sunny.

I went to the bathroom about 4 and found my left foot in water, that’s never good. I’d noticed the tank felt a little shaky in the master bathroom lately. Sure enough the tank bolts had loosened up enough to create a drip on one side. So I got two wrenches and tightened them up, it seems to have fixed it. Now I gotta go mow grass.

Buppies, I also have diabetes and HBP, controlled, so I also worry about the virus.

Nice tractor RNG.

I’d love to have a drone, but I can’t fly one here because of proximity to the airport. My son’s drones won’t even start up here, he just gets a message saying ‘ Airspace Prohibited ‘. Technically I could go up to 50’ or call the tower for permission and file a flight plan for them to OK.

Time to get started, have a good day.

Good morning to all! Low of 46, going for 80 today!

Wng, the roof has about 3 days involved so far, about another day for final trim and paint. I was thinking it is taking me about twice as long as it should have.... compared to what I used to do.... that was a long time ago though...

I still have to do the railings too, they are going to be 3 rail of galvanized pipe. Trying for that old industrial look.

RNG, sorry to hear about the trouble already with the tractor. Unless it is a spectacular deal (like almost new but half price), I will steer away from used. Too many people out there that will just pass on known defects without revealing them. Even then, I always plan on dumping $$ to get things corrected. I still think you did ok, just need to work out the bugs...

Thomas, good decision to determine if BooBoo is actually BeaBea with cubs first before surprising them!

Ron, we were surprised that the groomer called us to confirm the appointment. We thought for sure she was closed, but she works out of her home. She was maintaining social distancing and was doing curbside pickup and delivery, we did not even have to get out of the truck.

I noticed that the grass / weeds here have shot up quickly. Probably have to cut the fields again by the end of the week.

I am now heading outside to work on the roof trim pieces while it is still cool out. For some reason, I am becoming less and less heat tolerant.

Everyone have a great day!

50F and overcast @ 09:00 ... predicted high of 62F for the day, with a 50% chance of thunderstorms. Under a "Pollen Alert".

Got oil, paint, and light fixtures picked up yesterday. Went with "Oasis Blue" on the paint as the color. Think maybe that is the one Ron used, judging from his picture of the birdhouse.

The Woman thought it was a pretty color - and is now thinking about other things that could be painted with it ...

.

Forgot all about what color I used. Satin Lagoon.

No problem - I'm happy with the color we went with ...

Curious if you used anything to seal the wood of the roof though ... ;)

I went to a Quik Trip a few minutes ago. They were fairly busy and I was the ONLY one wearing a mask. Didn't see another person with one.

Then I went on to Buc-ee's to fill the car with gas and it was $1.299 a gallon. The last time I bought gas was one month ago today and then, as well as today, it only held less than $7 worth. This month is probably the least amount of driving I've done since I got a license when I was 16.

I wonder how many palms got greased over the years
so that Perdue got out of reporting requirements.

The poultry industry management was hiding behind the privacy laws in reporting their cases and worse yet, not telling the employees. So now the state health dept has intervened and the testing has begun. Since so many workers are sick, they can't figure out what to do with the live chickens and apparently are considering killing them by the millions. I find it hard to believe they could modify their processing (no need to cut up and package) or ship them elsewhere. This short sighted thinking seems to be prevalent in our dairy/ag industry and with little to no federal leadership it's no wonder. Don't all these states have departments of agriculture and trade organizations?[/I]

Back in the 80s a friend of mine worked as a govt poultry inspector. The poultry industry convinced (bribed?) the government that self inspections were more cost effective and his job got cut way back.
