Good morning! 42˚F with lots of sun.
Rick, it's looking good that the red corvette will not have to spend a day at school.
Ron, that squirrel looks so cold.

Lawn day today, or is it?

Good Morning!!!! 61F @ 5:15AM. Sunny. High 82F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

Thanks for sharing the Captain's link, Eric. Nice to see some good CoVid-19 news for a change.

Guess my doc never got the word on the digital exams...

I still don't think the real story is being told on the masks, Drew. Now the health department is telling us to wear them, too, but not to protect ourselves, but to protect others in case we're asymptomatic. That makes a certain amount of sense, but contrast that with the protests among medical people about not having enough masks, which are clearly about their concerns for their own safety. :confused2:

Smart squirrel, Ron. Great photo, too. But yesterday's of George was beautiful!

So Booboo does guard duty to keep other bears away, Thomas? I guess it's a case of the bear you know being better than the one you don't?:confused2:

Got the solar panel posts trimmed to length yesterday, but realized that the gravel around them still needs compacting and that wouldn't be possible with the rack built. So that's on hold until the tractor is back from the dealership. To stay busy, I took down a pegboard tool panel where the inverter and other inside components will be mounted, and moved it down the wall. Lost about 1/3 of the area, so now things are doubled up on some of the hooks. Also had to cut a window in it to access a pair of light switches, but it all worked out OK. Still more equipment to move out of the way, but I got the concrete dust swept out of the shipping container so it'll have a place to go.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

48 degrees this morning, going for a sunny high of 73. I'm still trying to decide whether I want to get out there and mow the yard.

I got an email this morning from my AAA auto insurance that they'll be sending me a 20% premium refund for the two months; March 16 to May 15.

Didn;t get any outdoors time yesterday as my day job ran really long.
Today is 50 hour service.
Dog is not feeling well, might be a trip to the vet.
RNG - tractor fixed yet ?
BEF - Glad to heat the Operation on FIL went well, hope the infection goes away quick
seems our fox has been thinning out the squirrels an rabbits, but at least the screaming has stopped.
Deer are back to eating everything but the daffodils, so more fencing going up for now. They completely eradicated my tulips last year, none came up this spring.
Best to all and stay safe

Yep, that’s true Don. I’m a bit sad that our GD is missing so many of the great things of her Senior year. She has “cabin fever” from staying at home so .. she comes to the ranch every other weekend and will be here by lunch time. We usually take the Corvette into town to the drive in hamburger place for lunch on Fridays.

Good morning to all! Low of only 36, not the forecasted 30.... a good thing. High today should be 65 and sunny.

Yesterday, all went well with the errands. I had to drop off the water bill. Interesting concept they came up with for social distancing.... they utilized an existing window, added a 2x8 frame around the inside wall, put another window on the inside. They made sort of an air lock. You open the first (outside) window, place your bill / paperwork in the airlock, then ring the bell. Someone comes (wearing gloves), takes your bill, returns with receipt. Closes window, you get receipt. They have a big gallon size of hand sanitizer sitting between the windows. I thought it was a neat idea....

Costco was fairly busy, still having a line, but only waited less than 5 minutes to get in. I was able to get everything on the list. Went over to get gas... first time ever that I did not have to wait in line... gas price was $1.19 / gal.

Today I have to go back to Walmart, a couple things did not get on the previous list, but needed items.

Then, sometime this morning, will go over the neighbors and dig a short trench for him. It will be a quick job. Then I think the soil has dried enough to get back to planting the landscape project. Still going to hold off the tender plants, but all the evergreens are going in for sure!

I should be wore out by this afternoon, some of the extra mental energy used up...
Everyone have a great day!

I made a joke on FB about the CDC doing a 180° about face on wearing masks, and some people came unglued. I’m expecting demonstrations outside my house today.

I have, for the most part, completely avoided any mention of this Covid-19 mess on my FB page. Seems no matter on which side you stand, any comment - even light-hearted - is met with ferocious "you're WRONG" attacks. I never knew I had so many medical experts amongst my FB "friends."

NOW you know why I don't say much, even on TBN-GM.

A mostly cloudy 29ºF for today's low with .5" of surprise snow on the ground. A cloudy 32ºF presently and I anticipate a mostly cloudy afternoon with high temperature ~40ºF. I have not been too motivated lately to do much.

BEF- I am happy to read that the shunt was removed successfully from your FIL. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Randy- It saddens me to read about how C-19 has impacted on you and your Mom.

Phil- I am sorry to read about your nixed celestial event observation. I believe that you and I will be seeing some snow tomorrow evening into Saturday.

RonJH- Thanks for another great wildlife picture.

"... Not sure on how to answer your question other than what I seen over the years. When it's mating season all rules are off. Bigger the bear straighter line to food source,if young bear should challenge will get fast education. More than one bear together good chance there family more tolerance towards each other."- Thomas I agree. In some ways they are like feral cats the way they will mark territory and communicate the "bear news".

Ken- I am sorry to read about your dog. :(

I agree with all the recent C-19 posts here. I take my C-19 "stuff" to another site and so far all the anger, blaming, and finger pointing is tolerable. Despite a wide range of personal views there is a realization that like it or not we are all in this together or should be. I will wear my DIY face mask in open air curbside pickups and I will wear my 3M mask in any indoor environment like the supermarket/pharmacy? I may still end up looking like a StarWars?ï½® Storm Trooper.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
