44 going to 64, and not so windy as the last 2 days, but not crystal clear blue skies, either.

Hope you have a great anniversary, BEF and lucky wife. I got a Walmart pickup slot by logging on to their website first thing in the early morning...the slot was for the following day. I thought their interface was smooth and the changes to the order, too.

LS, a very neat looking place, and those are fast growing pines. When a pine forest here is harvested, they are replanted as seedlings, and would barely gain that height or less in 2 years. Happy for your daughter.

Here is the chupra coyote...turns out that he got caught on the trail cam about a half hour before I saw him in the field. Also a red fox for comparison, although it is closer to the camera, so not quite a true comparo.

A few years ago we had several coyotes in our area that looked mangy like that and worse. I talked to our vet about it and he said one of his customers shot one and brought it to the parking lot for testing. He tested for mange and said that wasn't it and he was never able to figure it out even after sending a sample to U.C. Davis,Vet school. In couple of years those that had it either died off or were shot and we haven't seen any for quite a while.

Drew to answer your question barrel was made that way primarily for looks, some say better heat dissipation but in smaller calibers not such much an issue unless firing a hundred rounds simultaneously. The byproduct was more accuracy due to increase in weight very well balanced. I got these answers from a friend who was the number 4 cowboy shooter until he blew out a knee now number 14. He uses one of these in a 45 caliber

Pretty common to use poison in some areas to control coyotes. Wonder if the lab checked for that?

Offer to let her use it?

Seriously, though, if you both have been walking across gravel or dirt/mud from your parking spots to the house, she's probably really tired of all the sand/dirt bring tracked in. Maybe some concrete parking pads and a sidewalk or two would bring her around? Same argument might work with your son/daughter-in-law...

Nope, all the conduit was in the last pour. That's a propane pipe, and now it's time to cut the rebar. Fortunately, plenty left extending out of the slab to tie to.:pullinghair: I was going to have to splice it anyway, as the slab is 11' wide and I had to cut the 20' lengths of rebar to 10' to get it home.:confused2: Oh, and it looks like I may have been off on the number of rebar sticks I bought, by something like a factor of two. Now I HAVE to buy that mixer; can't return cut in half rebar...

BIL and sisters tests were positive for cv19. No surprise. BIL is getting better, sister is getting worse.

Cleaned up garden from last years plants. Think I’ll leave plastic mulch in place where I plant tomatoes and peppers in the holes. Will just till potato area.

Used lopers to cut poison ivy growing up trees in the woods. Also cut off some small cedars.
