Good morning!!!!

Good morning, woke up late. Gotta work in the garage and finish cleaning out the trailer today.

Getting boards in the truck tomorrow, I’m too old and short to swinging from the steering wheel like a chimp. I hope they are as tasteful and tucked up as the picture. Still trying to decide about the ARE cap, very nice, could be handy, but it’s not my style, I like a soft cover better. I really did leave home looking at beater trucks! LOL

37 this morning heading to 60, then dropping into the thirties for a couple of days. It’s nearly March and the influence is starting to show.

Hope everyone has a good day, God bless.

12 right now...high in the mid-30's and 3-5 inches of snow today...rain tonight. I'll definitely want to clear what I can before the rain.
Visited neighbors yesterday. Kim (the wife) looked a bit rough...definitely not feeling good. But, her spirits were good...half the battle.

Strong thoughts/prayers for your neighbor wife.
With that much snow to expected to fall before the rain why not let the snow suck up the rain, instead of rain making icy surface?

These people with 4 wheel drive pickups and summer tires in winter make me laugh. The neighbour caught me going up the road and begged a pull off me. He was stuck in his driveway (GMC). I yanked him out onto the road. I pulled a different one out of the same guys' ditch last year (DODGE).

Same problem here more so when snow turn to slush, dealerships call tires all season but call them 3 season tires.

I hear you. Neighbour痴 kid and her boyfriend came up on Friday, and tried to drive into their driveway in his GMC pick up truck with a lift kit. I guess he figured he had enough clearance, and so he tried to make it through about a foot of snow. Got about halfway, and then got high centered. I had to come over Saturday morning and tractor him out. He had nice macho looking knobby tires, but of course they were not winter tires. Told him to get a set. I don稚 think he will, because they won稚 look as 田ool as his current tires.

I'll bet he looks 'cool' stuck in a ditch, too.
I run Pro-Comp mud and snow tires on the Jeep. I've never gotten the Jeep stuck, but I also have a winch. They howl a bit, but I also have a good stereo with brand new speakers. The stock ones I blew.

We are getting the least of the Texas low. Looks like it is staying south of the border. Look out N.Y.!

Good morning to all! Low of 34, only going up to 48 today, overcast, maybe some sprinkles tonight.

Randy, I question your definition of a beater truck.... looks nice!:drink:

Ron, Sassy looks a little bit happier, maybe she wants a more designer style wardrobe.....;)

LFN, the Explorer Pro-Comps are really good tires. Well made and durable.

Thomas, have fun with the tractor purchase. Going to get any implements for a package deal? I can think of a few toys... eh, I mean tools that you could get!:cool2:

David, hope the weather cooperates with you so the progress continues.

Did not get out to the shop or out on the tractor yesterday, had to get Max to the vet. He developed a fever and bad ear infections in both ears. He is now on antibiotics. The Fever was much lower last night, and he perked up a bit. No fever this morning.

A few errands today, then maybe tractor time to fix the drive. Everyone have a great day!

Has anyone installed an Expansion joint in sheetrock? I have a returning crack in a long expanse, about 30' of ceiling sheetrock, right outside a tray ceiling. the crack is only about 2' long. I can't seem to find a repair person that will call me back and the youtubes don't explain how the sheetrock is attached to the studs closest to the joint. And yes Ron I have a cousin that I will probably end up calling but he just had neck surgery so he would just be a consultant. I was in Home depot and saw a local handy man and asked him if he installed expansion joints and he has never heard of them and thought it was a good idea I should market. HD does not carry expansion joints. This is the 4th time the crack has come back - always in the near spring when we have wide temperature changes.

I haven't done this with sheetrock, Don, but my first house had stucco siding that was badly cracked all over. I purchased exterior grade paintable caulk to fill the cracks, then painted the house. The cracks were still gone when I sold the place ten years later. Maybe the same stuff would work for your ceiling crack?:confused3:
