Good morning!!!!

I have an ironman inversion table it's very solid. I never go inverted longer than a few minutes. Once you learn to relax your spine will release like a zipper and there is no need to stay on it any longer.

Thanks, there's one of those on FB for sale right now.

Seems like most of 'em have u shaped cups for under the ankles, with foam rollers on top. They'd be easier to get out of if you get stuck upside down, but maybe a little too easy?

They lock down really tight, you're not going to fall out.

RNG: most of the others ones might work OR they could be the ones you mentioned where you can get stuck on them. i actually tried out about 10 different ones cause after I wanted one of course i didn't want to buy a new one with Craigslist being one of my favorite stores.

so i've never been STUCK on my invertalign inversion tables and i've owned about 5 different versions and the first one is almost as good as their latest ones. check to make sure the side supports are not bent cause some users didn't take the table off the stand to move it around would damage/bend them and make sure the cups and pads for your ankles are in good shape if you find a nice used one. Since Teeter Up now owns invertalign buying one of their new ones is definitely an option and if you hang up to 5 minutes a day upside down i'd bet it will pay for itself very soon cause a new one is less than $400 now. I think they are about $300 at Costco, but not sure which model they are selling there now of the teeterup cause that company has several to choose from.

DD's ironman isn't built as well, but it sounds like he likes it. just be careful buying anything used even the invertaligns cause there are operator errors that can damage these. like i mentioned the only issues i've seen where a invertalign is damaged are the side supports and if they are and it's a great deal i bet you and others could make better side supports and the table would work maybe better.

I can't tell you how many of the cheaper ones show up for sale and guessing the users found out that they weren't easy to use or they felt unsafe like i did when I tried a bunch of them. here's pics of 3 of the invertaligns i've owned and no complaints with any of them.

good luck!!

Seattle Drizzle is still happening and I hear the Pineapple express (the system that comes from Hawaii) is heading our way today and for a few days so a few more inches of rain in the next few days too.

I disagree I weigh 280 and the Ironman is rock solid. Buy whatever you like though, this one works for me.

DD: i'm happy you like it and if you use it all the better, but it's just not made as well as the invertaligns.

BTW i'm 6'3 and 230 and the only thing my old Chiropractor told me was not to hang longer than 5 minutes and I haven't seen him for an adjustment in over 10 years now and it might be closer to 15.

DD: not sure why you want to sell me on yours cause i tried it and didn't like it. if like it and use it that's great. I haven't done any testing in years cause i'm happy with the invertalign, but maybe there is a better one now. have you tried the other ones or the invertalign that I like? since a new Ironman is $180 and a new Teeterup (invertalign version) is about $400 that is telling me something about the quality.

sorry guys for derailing the thread a bit, but I know we all have some sort of back or neck pain and this is the best way i've found to help.

I'm not trying to sell you on anything. You said it wasn't as well built, I disagree and the reviews disagree. Price and quality don't go hand in hand, perceived value and actual value don't go hand in hand either. Redneck needs to go look at them and decide for himself. I presented a cheaper alternative is all.
