Drinking first cup of coffee. 26° with snow this morning. Heading to 40° with snow until above freezing then freezing rain. Sent Sassy out to check snow depth. Her belly is rubbing. That makes snow over 3.5" deep. Sent some Amazon packages back yesterday. Hate doing that. But something just do not work. Looks my project for today will be keeping walkways and area for dogs cleared. Yah some seat time.
Dr, suggested that I start using Gas-X for stomach pain last Monday. I said, but I do not have gas. Dr. said yes you do. Showed me the X-rays and pointed out the areas that were gas. Well, it is working. I feel so much better.

Drew, glad you are feeling better and trip is going better. Safe travels. Didn't you forget a charger on another trip?

Randy, glad you and Ellen are getting care to get better. Sorry to hear about your mother. Prayers for you all.

Buckeye, prayers for your FIL.

Phil, its hard to keep up. Just do your best and enjoy the post.

David, maybe weather is giving your back a break.

Wngsprd, I do have 3 cakes of suet out. Hard to get good pictures because birds are always moving and on wrong side for good pictures.

Jay, be careful on the slippery stuff. On a RV forum where i post. One of the members forgot to take his spikes when climbed up on roof to clear snow. Still patching holes. He is from Maine.

-3F cloudy mid teens for high,snow starts falling around 4pm until stopping around day break Sunday 7-9 inches,least it will be in upper 20's low 30's for clean up.

Outside chores done E muffin time. :licking:
Plans for today...quick trip to town for the Mrs.,attach plow to pickup,keep wood furnace purring.

I got a call from both nurse and moms doctor, who is also my doctor, recommending she be put strictly on palliative care, so I guess the countdown begins for her. She would be 97 April 15. I am not ready to face the world without my mom, but I guess we never are.

Yes, you, and your mother, have my sympathy. My wife and I have been there.

Wheeeew! Feeling a lot better this morning. Typical Shingrex reaction caught up with me yesterday, and it took me forever to figure out that Advil Cold & Sinus would be OK to take. Fixed me right up, so I'll know next time.

Got some paperwork sorted out yesterday, and reloaded the wood cart, but that was about it. Oh, and screened "Best Bar in America" again, a great cult film with a neat old motorcycle sidecar in it. And laundry. Washed a lot of laundry. Oh, and I even took a nap, but didn't sleep well, not as well as last night, anyway.

Looks like we've got some nice weather for the next few days, so maybe I can get some stuff done on the van and out in the garage.

Wheeeew! Feeling a lot better this morning. Typical Shingrex reaction caught up with me yesterday, and it took me forever to figure out that Advil Cold & Sinus would be OK to take. Fixed me right up, so I'll know next time.

My wife and I both had reactions to the Shingrex shot a couple of months ago. We also got flu shots that day, so wasn't sure whether one or the other or both caused it...one day of feeling like the flu hit us...but I had a big heart-shaped reddish spot about 4 inches across around the small darker red spot where the shot "hole" was located (remained over a week). Within a day felt like I had developed arthritis in both knees, which still bothers me some days. Maybe all coincidental.

But after reading about shingles, I guess I'm still better off, and I haven't caught the flu.
