I see it is -41F right now in Fairbanks AK.... A wee bit too nippy for me.
Rick, they are predicting big storms late Friday night east of Austin, but probably north of you .
Randy, that step looks handy.
J- is prepared for snow and ice better than Brogen. I've never worn crampons. When my northern buddy told me the first time about them, I had to say "What did you say?"
PJ, our chickens put themselves in the kennel every night at sun down, but they only have put themselves inside the actual coop once (when below 30F and windy). They like to sleep on the roof of the coop. Makes for a big mess to have to clean. They are still laying well down here. I saw an owl fly away tonight when coming home at 8:45pm... I'll bet you could build a really big studio in that Shropshire home. I like the turn around driveway.
RNG, good luck with the red tape lady. I heard that many of the tax payers are leaving CA, leaving behind a plethora on "non tax payers"....
Glad I haven't had any gout since about 24 years ago, when I had 2-3 beers every night. Natural light, if that counts as 2-3 beers (maybe counts as 1-2).
Hope all of you are able to keep the gout minimized.
BEF, glad your hood didn't come all the way up!
Garden: Onions are doing well, almost doubled in size already....spinach coming up...waiting on kale to sprout. Don, are you able to give your excess kale away?
Hope all had a decent day.
prayers, stay warm (unless your in southern hemisphere), get better.
