Just joined the group. Have a small farm and bought a 2004 JD 310sg a few yrs back. I have been able to get a ton of work done around the farm cleaning ditches and clearing scrub brush. I need to know more about this machine and research a problem I am =having right now. The machine will not move forward or reverse. all wheels off the ground they spin when transmission engaged, both 4 and 2 wd. all other systems seem a go. just no power to the wheels. So I am going to research this site and look for others that have fixed this problem.

Had a farmer that was going to bring his backhoe into a shop... would move just a little bit but no power. His High Low range selector (which he never uses) got knocked into neutral. He flip that switch and all was good... something easy to check. Good luck...

I agree with the range selector suggestion. If you still need help - you might try in the 'Construction Equip' here at TBN, 0r other sites.

Do hyd functions operate properly? From viewing parts catalog it appears trans & shuttle is controlled by electricity. Have you checked for any blown fuses?
