Next year you might want to get a heated snowmobile helmet. Tell you I thought it was really going to be stupid, but once I put it on and when the snow blew back toward me I was glad I had it on.

That sounds a lot better than the balaclava that I wear. Does it require a cigarette lighter to plug into or does it run off batteries? Being heated does the fine snow that blows back melt off the face shield O.K.?

Mine has a small 12 VDC jack that we added to the panel. So all you have to do is plug it in. It has about 5 feet of flex cable with it so you can move around a lot without disconnecting it. Now I have gotten off several times and forgot about it and pull the jack out without damage. It does help to keep the snow melted off from the faceplate.

I am sure in your area you will find someone that has one and you can test it out! Actually, this time of the year they might even be on sale at the local snowmobile place. I did not buy mine it is one my son purchased so I am not sure how much he paid for it.

Only problem is I cannot hear too much and the visual is cut down with the helmet on.

This is the unit that my son has in his! Which is the one I use when blowing snow. All it really does is keep the shield from fogging up and it is warm enough to keep he snow off. There isn't a heater in the helmet itself.

There is also a small mouth piece that directs your breath away from the shield, but it is a pain to use so I do not wear it.

We had about an inch of global warming fall here in northern Virginia. Nothing to clean up though. It was quite a surprise to wake up to after 70 degree weather only a few days prior. And weird planting trees with snow on the ground!

Nearly 3' of weekend snow in Bainbridge, Geauga, Snowbelt, Ohio.

used the back blade to plow, then got out the snowmobiles to take the family around the property for some Easter fun.

Yea BX... but you actually have to raise your arm and turn your chute.
Neat video!

I've installed two rocker switches, one to turn the chute and one to change the deflector angle. Definitely worth the $250 extra.
Gotta tell ya, the tractor/blower combo definitely worked a LOT better than the old 38" Simplicity walk behind Especially with a 1400' driveway!
My blower is off, I thought we were done, and now the forecast is for a rain/snow mix. Hmm. Maybe I'll get my skis back out??!!

We had one on Saturday. In Elkhart Texas. That's deep east Texas not known for snow. This isn't my place but my neighbors.

Here in MA we are supposed to get more snow Thursday. I thought I had made sure we weren't going to get any more by tuning up my blower AFTER the last snow we had.
