We have vastly different ideas of the meaning of the word "fun."

I just couldn't resist. How much does the bucket charge to drive in reverse?

I woke up to a foot on the white stuff this morning when I left for work at 4:15. Got home about 2:00 to find another 3-4". Used the loader to clear the driveway since had already taken the blower off for the year. I could have left the snow to melt on its own since its all muddy underneath it but there is no seat time that way.

In the snow belts, the front end loaders aren't much good for snow removal, as eventually we run out of room for the snow. We also get a great deal of drifting . A snowblower is much better suited for snow removal in my opinion. The cost of the a front mount set up is not something I can not justify. :D I have run with simular setups with other tractors and I don't have a stiff neck yet. I would rather put the money into more hp or other attachements.

So after buying and having a BX24 TLB delivered today, my thought that my nearly brand new super large Ariens snowblower (which replaced a terrible small Sears piece of junk snowblower) was a waste of money was wrong! Great.

That actually looks pretty impressive for what appears to be a heavy wet snow. I still don't get why the front mount cost so much but I can see your point.

I think that this winter started out a bit slow as winter goes. As it stands right now we will have more snow for Easter than for either Christmas or New Years. We are having an average year for snowfall here in Western NY- around 200 inches at last report.
You might be refering to the folks over on the east side of Lake Ontario- the region that they call the Tug Hill Plateau. They may be close to a record.
By the way, did anyone notice my neighbor in the first photo, out with his New Holland "cleaning up" !:)

Hey Brad at least you were smart enough to leave the blower on! Like you we didn't have any snow for Christmas and New Year but got a fair amount in March and April......................go figure. Oh it is hard to see blue when we are looking through Orange! Plus he doesn't have a snow blower.

Next year you might want to get a heated snowmobile helmet. Tell you I thought it was really going to be stupid, but once I put it on and when the snow blew back toward me I was glad I had it on.

Those are great pics! Here in central Pa we just had snow squalls through the day with no accumulation. I agree with some of the other folks who feel they have a different idea of fun than you do!
