Good deal on used XG3032 Gear?

I have the same basic plans as you do, I ordered the MT235E with loader and backhoe. It hasn't arrived yet. I was originally searching for used machines as well. My final conclusion before buying new was as you stated - I'd rather have the warranty. The amount of money your machine costs, is far out weighed by the amount of work it's capable of doing. Also the cost of the jobs you speak of would easily surpass a new tractor had you hired somebody to do all of that.

I think the engine in that tractor is a Mitsubishi S3L2 with 80.4 CI if so they play with the HP on the smaller tractor, i had a Mahandra 3016 and they called it 28 hp in 2011 and have heard that it was used in some tractors before all this EPA crap as a 30 hp.
Just saying that that engine was strong and i believe it has more hp than it is rated.

That was my original thought. I looked up the build specs on Mitsubishi site and saw they had higher HP numbers from the same engine in same configurations. Possibly timing and fuel curve changes. Either way I think it might be one of those things that we will publish this number but being capable of more.
