MY old girl, 1963 Mf35 deluxe , 4 cylinder gas, US made, is in the process of being "refreshed", with repairs and or new parts. I've redone the hydraulics (new pump, lift cylinder etc.), lift arms and linkages. next year it's the steering and any loose linkages. There doesn't seem to be too many 12 volt positive grounded tractor owners out there. I'm not much into this cumputer stuff, but it sure is helpful!!!!

Hi joh, once you have "refreshed" your old girl,you will enjoy it. They are a great little tractor. I have a '63 too, not a deluxe though, gas engine. Having a little problem with it right now, there is a knock in it. Thought it was engine, but not so.(Checked valves,compression tested; 140 in each cyl). It gets noisy after it warms up. Is it possible that the noise could be coming from hydraulic pto shaft? Noise resonates right up front, fooling you into thinking it is a motor problem. Has anyone out there heard of this before? Thanks for any insight on this...

I wonder if one of your hydraulic pump's positioning pins has seared off. You would notice rougher movement of your lift.
