Good, Average, or not so good? - Trade for DX45 w/cab

Just looking for opinions on the following deal I've been working on.

Trade - used DX33 hydro (2006), LX quick attach loader, mid pto, 290 hours.
Purchase - new DX45 w/factory cab, loader w/quick attach and bucket, mid pto, hydro, 2 rear remotes, rear windshield wiper.
Price w/trade = $17,100

Any thoughts? Not sure how to compare since I have no idea what my DX33 would bring used. Thanks for any replies.

I think you did okay. You got about $15,500 trade-in for your DX33. Not great, but you didn't have to hassle with selling it yourself. Considering it was a 2006 with a little warranty left, It was probably worth a little more, but you got a $32,000 tractor for your difference.

Also, if you are in a sales tax state, you save the tax on the trade in. So if you got $15,500 on the trade in, at a 8% tax rate, that would save you another $1,240 in taxes.

Enjoy the tractor, I traded a TC30 for the New Holland version of the DX45. I like it!!
