Swamp Loggers has been cancelled.

Is it just me or when the 'Dakota Boys' were digging the 'Glory Hole' last season it often had some water in it and I couldn't shake the feeling half their gold was being washed away and laying on the bedrock with each bucket full?

Fred of the dakota boys is lucky he did not end up in the bottom of that hole last year , probably wouldn't have been so cordial without the cameras there !

I agree with way they were/are digging a good bit of the gold is being left on the bottom of the holes they need a good wet vac system to get the bedrock cleaned off and would be a good clean out then.

Bamazon is same song different dance. Kinda like jungle gold except they actually have a plan and they speak spanish. It appears they watched that midseason episode of gold rush and said "Hey we oughta do that!"

Exactly what i was thinking... along the lines of the midseason gold rush Jungle gold show. But they would have had to tape bamazon the same time that the goldrush thing taped.

I'd hate to know what Todd has into that brand new high-tech trommel who's motor burned out before they even got anywhere with it. I'd be so mad. That's part of taking a gamble though. Don't blame his investors for not liking him gambling with their dough.

Nothing like doing R&D for the trommel designer on your own dime/time.

i know its still down time which don't pay bills but that motor has to have a warrenty unless it was out of something used?

Is it sad that I only watch shows like these and the logging shows just to see the different equipment used in other areas? I dislike all these "reality" shows but seeing the different equipment makes some tolerable to watch.

Well what I heard the designer say was that he didn't think it had enough horsepower. Which means he hasn't built/run one this large before. So they are doing R&D in the field.

So now the plot can go either way: there is a motor sitting right up the road with a 'for sale' sign on it that will bolt right in and work perfect OR it is going to a 'catastrophic', potentially 'season ending' wait for one to be shipped in (i.e. 'drama')

The answer was right in front of them. Dont pour the raw material in so fast...
That and water mist to help cool the engine, injection into the intake and mist the radiator. Water injection has been used to boost HP output since WW II.

I am sure they could limp along. Probably what they did but without the drama.
