Going slow

/ Going slow #61
STOP THE PRESSES!!! The Big RED Beast is back. I adjusted clutch free play from .50" measurement to about 1.50" measurement. Spec is 1.60 to 1.80 inch. I can now take off in 8th gear like a raging bull:D and the tractor dies when I try to take off in 12th at idle. It's feels like a new tractor.:cool2::drink::dance1::) Thanks to all who helped here.

Jerry,
I feel your dialup pain. My 2 year contract with Hughes.net is now over. Before that I had dialup. I am playing to run away from Hughes.net and try wireless Internet America. I haven't heard of this before, so I guess it is pretty new.
hugs, Brandi

Woot woot!!!

Love it when things turn out better/easier than expected..... makes think I should do an adjustment on our 2810. it probably has never had one.

Tex,
The instructions for adjusting my brake and clutch pedal free play are in my Owners (Operators) Manual.
