Around Green Bay WI this tractor is selling for $4K, anybody heard of a better price relatively close? I'm pretty much settled on the fact that this unit will get the job done, but wouldn't mind shaving off some of those dollars to the cost if possible.

Thanks.

You won't find much if any discounting on any of the new CC machines anywhere you look, and $3999 is the list price on the 2554. At season end when new models come out then you may be able to obtain a leftover model year one cheaper than the list price. Even on the 1000-1500 machines at TSC they are at the list price, but they throw in incentives such as $200 in store credit, and I've seen buyers here at TBN go to dealers for the bigger machines who do the same sort of thing. If I were buying a new 2500 series at a dealer, I would at least try to sweet talk and fandangle a few free engine and tranny oil filters out of the deal.

$3999 is what you will pay unless you lump in a snowthrower, tiller attachment, etc... with the purchase. The only time I've ever seen a new 2K series discounted is after the next model year is in the showroom.

I was thinking the same things you guys were. At the moment I really only want a blade, even though a blower would be nice to have, but my walk behind does ok. The snow blows around alot where I live, so the light stuff is a pain to blow vs a blade. I'll see what kind of deal they'll give me, because there are two dealers of Cub around here and I'd hope one of them wants my biz.

Thanks.
