Nortrac NT204C
Hey guys. I am a newbie to this site but not my 2008 Nortrac NT204C. I have had my 2nd pair of hands for 3 years now and pretty familiar with it. I also twist wrenches for a living on Mercedes Benz. That's right one end of the fit and finish scale to the other. Fit and finish is nice but I cant afford it. Besides that I would get upset with myself if I got my pretty tractor dirty. I traded my snowmobiles and trailer for my tractor with loader. I have since purchased and restored (color Matched) a 48" Kubota a three point snow blower which has come in real handy here in New Hampshire. I also have a 3 point Bush Hog backhoe (662H) I use regularly. If the blower is not on the machine the hoe is. The machine is garage kept (not Heated unless I'm working in it). I have installed a lower hose block heater for the times I am going to use it in the winter. The machine fires up like it was the middle of summer after a couple hours. I was very skeptical when I made my trade but I needed a tractor. I am not sorry in the least bit. One of the first things I did after receiving the machine was dump ALL the fluids. If you have one and have not done this DO IT. The stuff that came out of the machine, mainly the transmission and front axle, was not good. I did some research because I could not find an oil filter locally and figured out that an Audi oil filter works on this machine. I use a Mann 735/1 filter. It is long I'm guessing a 2 quart (about) capacity. Extra oil can never hurt. I have had some minor problems with it like broken return springs and slight oil leaks (addressing now) one loose injector but nothing serious. I usually frequent these sights to see what potential problems and fixes are in store for me which is usually when I'm servicing it (now). This tractor is great for a home owner. Let the business' buy the shiny high tech expensive machines. Low tech means there's a good chance it can be repaired at home, if it breaks...

To TBN from Alabama. Sounds like that tractor is in good hands.
