Just a note to help others avoid a mistake I made!

I have a JD 4210 with 430 loader and 72" MMM. I did not get the 3rd SCV to raise/lower the MMM - I'm using the bucket roll connectors for that, so I use the dual SCV to raise lower the MMM. But, it is a real pain to swap the hoses if I plan to do a lot of minor loader work between mowings. You have to crank the MMM height adjust knob all the way up to lock the MMM in the up position to disconnect the hoses, so you lose your height setting every time. Then there's the inevitable minor mess every time you change hoses.

I called my dealer to get a price to add the 3rd SCV. It would have been $200 if I ordered it on the tractor - but since they have to install it, now it will cost me the $200 for the valve, PLUS $200 labor to put it in!

Word to the wise - spend the $200 up front!

You make a great point. When buying a tractor, or car, or whatever. Check the upfront cost of options, compared to adding later. I checked that on some options, but I may have missed something. Of course, some folks have done OK bundling several upgrades, say, adding that scv while getting something else done.
