GMC Universal Home Remote. Frequency?

It's frustrating that GM switched up homelink, car2u, and homelink again.

I ordered the unit above for Car2U to see if it would work for my 2011 GMC Sierra and 2012 Tahoe, it came early, I tried it yesterday, first attempt failed. Went back out an hour later and used middle button instead of left button, works great. It has a slight delay (compared to remote that comes with opener), but that is expected as it goes through converter. Wife loves it. I may not program my truck since currently it is parked outside and if I programmed it, it would be security risk (someone could break into truck and press garage button and get into house). If I start parking in garage, I will certainly program it, I may program it now to make sure it works, then erase programming until I am parking in garage.

After spending days of frustration with this. My lady friend was going to ask an overhead door company she gives a lot of business to, for a receiver that might work as they offered her all kinds of stuff for her new house.

Anyway, tonight as I was looking for something totally unrelated in my warehouse, I see a box out of the corner of my eye, "garage door stuff". Therein was a Chamberlain kit with a 955CD Rolling Code Receiver! A three dollar price tag from the re-store still on the package. And fifteen seconds of trying, the GM console opens it.
