Hello, New Member here,

I have a 1947 JD GM that I used for years but it has been sitting in the barn for the past 10yrs. I need to get a rear wheel off for repair. The clamp is removed but I can't budge it to get it to slide off. I'm been soaking it liberally with Kroil for the past week of so, and have a bottle jack putting some pressure outwards.

Does anyone have any tricks or advice? It is obviously set up to use a big puller from the outside, but I have not been able to locate one that big.

Thanks in advance,
John

Well, we got it off. Two jacks from the inside, lots of pounding on the shaft.

Thanks
