The hood on my MX4800 has some weather trim that keeps falling off. I want it to work as the grill screen does keep some of the chaff out of the engine compartment.

How should I semi-permanently affix it in place? A little silicone caulk is what I was thinking.

+2. That stuff has been around and unchanged for many decades for good reason. IIRC, it's what all the auto makers use at the factory.

Ok. Fine. I'll buy some. I knew it existed, just didn't want to buy any for such a small job. Thanks.

You can usually get fairly small tubes of it at your local auto parts.

Just another voice in the choir. 3M, you can get it in black or some monkey crap color.
