Glow plug warning light on 2660

While mowing I notice the glow Plug light on while operating. What am I looking for on this?

Bad relay

When the light is illuminated put a voltmeter on the plug itself to see if it is energized. I don't know how your system is wired - a schematic would be a big help there - but a good starting point would be to see what's actually happening.
