glow plug light and engine stop solenoid

Hi everyone my tractor century 2535 started flashing the glow plug warming light and a few minutes later the solenoid blew up so my question is why was the light flashing and can i run it without that solenoid for awhile till i can get tje parts to fix it also were can i get a manual that shows what things do i have one but it shows tranns parts and a few other things

huck202- there is a SENSOR(AIR HEATER) mounted on the water pump that tell the relay to start the glow plugs. As far as the solenoid not sure which solenoid you are asking about please post pic thanks
