I'm new at this tractor stuff, is there a glossary somewhere?
I've figured out the FEL and ROPs stuff, but the MMM and TnT are still a mystery. Thanks for your help. Mike

First off, that is a good thread Bill posted. I didn't go through the whole thing, but I did check out the original post by Muhammad. It should help alot. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Now, on to MMM and TnT.

The "top" part means replacing the manual screw type top link with a hydraulic cylinder that is then used not only to make it easier to hook up implements, but to tilt them forward and backwards with a hydraulic lever. Lets you do it "on the fly" and is especially helpful when using a box blade. The "tilt" part means replacing one of the side links with a hydraulic cylinder that lets you tilt implements side to side.

I thought FOPS = Falling Object Protective Structure, was
FOPS = Fold Over Protective Structure?

Nope - FOPS is for Falling Objects and incorporates a ROPS and a canopy into it's construction. You're probably being confused by the "newer" Folding Roll Over Protective Structure - or FROPS. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
