Have you noticed this? To tell the truth, I haven't. I have scraped my lights clear before- the snow melts and refreezes (not led). I wonder if rain guard would help the LED lights stay clear of snow. I'll have to keep an eye out for it- most new vehicles are using LEDs.
But there is nothing like a whiteout on 95 when you can't tell where you are on the road- except that a semi is somewhere in front of you!

Cool product. Before ice prevention, however, my top priority right now is finding the absolute best rust preventer. With the calcium chloride and salt mix they are putting on the road now, vehicles are rotting out in no time at all.

IslandTractor said:I live in New England where salt is used every winter. Before about 1990 or so cars would rust out before reaching ten or fifteen winters. Though hardly scientific, my impression is that we see far fewer cars reaching the end of their useful life due simply to rust. The manufacturers have done a better job in both design and materials to inhibit rusting in cars these days. It is one of the areas that new cars are superior to those from the good ole days.

That is what they use on Panama canal to paint the mules and other canal equipment.

That's pretty cool. I heard of a super coating not long ago that will make ketchup come right out of the bottle, no sticking at all. It's shiny new, and not released yet.
That must be the stuff they are using in Singapore to prevent posters sticking to places they want to keep free of them. That's pretty cool. I heard of a super coating not long ago that will make ketchup come right out of the bottle, no sticking at all. It's shiny new, and not released yet.
Well, when I read this in the Forbes link I had to wonder how he defines much:Daily Mail Slammed for Ignoring Scientific Truth We're Still Warming and Human Emissions Will Dwarf Any Solar Changes | ThinkProgress
Daily Mail Slammed for Ignoring Scientific Truth We豎*e Still Warming and Human Emissions Will Dwarf Any Solar Changes
Today the Mail on Sunday published a story written by David Rose entitled 謫「orget global warming it逞エ Cycle 25 we need to worry about?
This article includes numerous errors in the reporting of published peer reviewed science undertaken by the Met Office Hadley Centre and for Mr. Rose to suggest that the latest global temperatures available show no warming in the last 15 years is entirely misleading.
Another Day, Another Distortive Attack On Climate Change - Forbes
The latest example of denial (as opposed to legitimate skepticism) came in the UK逞エ Sunday Daily Mail, in a distortive piece that reads like the stuff you see on late-night infomercials you know, the ones that offer fool-proof market timing mechanisms that will MAKE YOU RICH?
The piece in question is called Forget global warming it逞エ Cycle 25 we need to worry about (and if NASA scientists are right the Thames will be freezing over again): Met Office releases new figures which show no warming in 15 years, and it逞エ been mailed to me by more than a dozen readers, despite being so full of fallacies that I don know where to begin
------------------------------------
Why so much importance given to Rose's opinion? (Also, the nasty name calling and labeling does not help anyone's case. Some sound like playground bullies with those tactics) The facts supporting or not supporting AGW have nothing to do with communism????????????????:confused2:

Well, when I read this in the Forbes link I had to wonder how he defines much:
The author also focuses on changes in solar activity, which have a negligible impact on the earth逞エ overall temperature. This is counter-intuitive, because we all experience the cooling of the shade and the heat of the sun, but much of the earth逞エ heat comes from its own molten core, and we豎*e not talking about the sun disappearing only quieting down a bit. What portion do you suppose ... 0.0001?
