I love this warm experience, all winter long. Looking forward to a nice summer too here in Pennsylvania, I have no kids, and ride motorcycles, I also say pave the planet as well!

Woooopsie.......Hello Al, well, uh, errr, I mean, well I gotta tell ya somethin. You're going to have to give back your Nobel peace prize and Oscar and well some of that cash you scammed from everyone.

Earth痴 ice is melting less rapidly than previously thought but sea levels continue to rise

Earth's ice is melting less rapidly than previously thought — but sea levels continue to rise

..........And here's something even more surprising: even with half a trillion tons of meltwater being added to the world's ocean's every year, the data collected by Wahr and his colleagues suggests that, outside of Greenland and Antarctica (the Earth's two largest caps), much of the planet's ice is melting at a slower rate than we once thought.

Hi all

Woooopsie.......Hello Al, well, uh, errr, I mean, well I gotta tell ya somethin. You're going to have to give back your Nobel peace prize and Oscar and well some of that cash you scammed from everyone.

But the above poster didn't post the conclusion of the study. From the above link ...

"[This] new data does not mean that concerns about climate change are overblown in any way," explained glaciologist Jonathan Bamber in an interview with the Guardian. "It means there is a much larger uncertainty in high mountain Asia than we thought. Taken globally all the observations of the Earth's ice - permafrost, Arctic sea ice, snow cover and glaciers ? are going in the same direction."

"Our results and those of everyone else show we are losing a huge amount of water into the oceans every year," echoed Wahr. "People should be just as worried about the melting of the world's ice as they were before."

What the new data does show is that nobody knows if the planet is warming,or if there is any need to panic if it is. They don't know what will happen if the planet warms, and they don't know what is causing it since CO2 is supposedly still climbing, but the temp of the planet hasn't gone up in 15 years.

Kind of hard to create panic when your problem isn't happening, and all the proof that it was happening turns out to be fabricated.

The Himalayas and nearby peaks have lost no ice in past 10 years, study shows | Environment | The Guardian

What's really amazing to me is that you have to go to news sources outside the US to find out what's going on in the world.

Seems some "scientist" hold their research, like you would the plans for an atomic bomb, which makes me skeptical in the 1st place. If global warming is so imminent, it would seem they would be forthright and forthcoming with there data so the issue could be addressed on a global platform. All the she said, he said,,, or didn't, manipulation of data to fit ones agenda, sure discredits the theory in my mind. Or I may just have my head in the sand on this one.
