need some help from some of the wizened kubota masters in here. this will be my first tractor.
just bought a ten acre horse farm of which 7.5 acres are pastures and paddocks. 6 of the paddocks are pretty small (about 1/3 acre each, rectangular shaped, roughly 90' X 160'). all the ground on the property is flat. not much mowing will be needed with the horses chowing down on the grass. but, initially i have to completely redo the pastures (power rake, seeding, etc.) and will have to spread humus and occasionally work the other pastures throughout the year to keep the grass nice and green.
questions...i'm in tampa, fl. the temps are scorching in the summer. i'm thinking an ac'd cab makes sense. what about you cabless guys who tractor in hot weather. do you regret not getting a cab? is the 3240 nimble enough to get around in the small paddocks? i read a thread where the 3030 supposedly vibrated a lot. is this the case with the 3240, also? are the luxuries on the GL a big advantage. if i want to make another riding arena, does the 3030 have the muscle to remove a 80' X 240' section of grass and
dirt.
i'm going down to the kubota dealer on monday to test drive, but figured you fellas might have an opinion or two on the matter. thanks.
