Fish....I love the magnet idea. Think that will be the next mod. I actually have some old trailer towing lights with the magnet/lights that I will sacrifice for the powerful magnets. Great idea!

Skipro3...I bow to you. Not gonna lie, you're way over my head on this one.

I did the magnet trick too. Works real good. I've had them on all summer now and I've not had to reattach them once. They are in the same spot I installed them a few months ago!

A couple of heavy duty cable ties might simplify things too

Harbor freight sells heavy duty magnets that have an eye bolt in them that happens to be the same size as most light mounts. I have used them and it works great. It also allows you to easily move the light if your work requires it.
