Getting manure to slide out of a dump trailer

I am looking at hauling some manure in my dump trailer and am trying to figure out a good way to get it to slide out of the trailer. I picked up a load of compost the other day and even with the trailer all the way up some of it did not want to come out. Trailer is a 7x20 with 4 ft sides like this.

I have been kicking around ideas to make it slide out better. Thought about a piece of plastic with a layer of sand or wood shavings below the plastic to make it slide better.

Any thoughts on a simple solution?

Yea that would work but the problem is I use the trailer to move my tractor as well so the liner is not going to be an option. I need to find something I do for occasional load of manure without modifying the trailer.

It comes from a feedlot about 5 miles down the road. I can get it as fresh or up to about a year old in some piles.

Would a can of silicone sprayed inside the trailer bed help for that load of chit? It would seem to be harmless to try.

I've wondered the same thing. I thought about a slick pack like they use to prime a concrete pump. If I do that I'd like to find something water based if possible. It sure seems like it woudl help it slide better.

I'd avoid silicone, especially in large quantities that could be introduced into the food chain.

Lecithin is a good product for non stick and is the primary component in PAM Cooking Spray. JMTCW.

Gotcha , spray it down with water before loading if possible ?

Water might work as well. Even soapy water might work better.

Another thought I had was throwing a scoop or two of wood chips in the bottom. 4-6 inches of chips on the bottom might make it slide out pretty well.
