Fixed it for you... Probably better with small squares. The poly I use is light weight knot strength anyway and I trim off the tails. Only place there is additional pull is through the tension plate. Other than that, it free flows to the bale. The new baler I bought has cross over twine arms instead the the twin parallel arms the NH had. Raining here again today, typical Michigan spring.I changed to sheet bend a while back, seem to flow though knotters better and stay tied much better in baling twine.

All of my children have knives the carry all the time, some started as young as four. When you need one nothing else will do.When you tie your square knots, you have to pull them very tight and then trim the waste down to about an inch.
As a habit, I carry a pair of side cutters, my 5” knife and my Glock if the hogs are out lol

tracking tails and stuff. Probably also has some relationship to the twine used. Anyway sheet bend fixed a lot of my issues with knots shaking loose and do seem to feed better, they are smaller when pulled tight.
I carry a small pair of scissors myself, in addition to a Buck folder and usually my Kimber. I do prefer having my 223 Ranch rifle behind the seat however. When you tie your square knots, you have to pull them very tight and then trim the waste down to about an inch.
