After almost 9 months of searching, researching, and wringing my hands, I think I'm finally ready to take the plunge and purchase a new machine. The new toy is going to be a 2815HST TLB with skidstear loader and a 16" bucket on the hoe. Question: is $22,000 a decent price? Locally, it can't be beat. Plus, the dealer is very genuine and has a great shop. Any advice?

Where are you located? That's a good package and the price sounds real fair.

For added protection have your dealer install a grille guard, I just added one to my 2815 today and I think its cheap insurance.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I bought my 2810HST in '03 for $16,100. Adding in your backhoe and quick detatch loader makes it sound like an attractive package.

I'm on a 400 acre farm in Western PA. We have Ag tractors to do the farming and general upkeep. However, everywhere you look, you'll find a quick application for a compact, sturdy, TLB.
