I've put the "bullet proof grade" Ultraseal from Gempler's in a bunch of wheels, and it's really cool stuff.... much lighter and cheaper than any foam fill, you still have all the advantages of a pneumatic tire, and it will seal some mighty big punctures. It doesn't really work if you try to use it "retroactively" on a tire with tube...meaning if you've already got a tire/tube setup with a hole it doesn't seal that reliably, and the manufacturer states that it's not intended to be used that way....but otherwise it's been awesome. The "commercial" stuff for high speed apps plugs 1/4" holes, but the bullet proof stuff will handle much bigger holes than that.
