GC2610 TLB, noticed some oil dripping from right side brake input shaft area. Thought it was a seal but I found the axle housing cracked at the brake input shaft boss.

I did see someone ask a while back about repositioning those levers but no conclusion. Anyway as I was looking up part numbers the AGCO parts book shows the brake levers pointing up not down. Would someone with a 2610 be so kind as to take a look at theirs and see which way the lever is oriented.
that lever is the lowest part of the tractor and has no protection. I couldn't find any indication that i landed on a rock but could think of nothing else.

The housing is available from jacks small engine but the interesting thing is that the part number from AGCO parts book was superseded. Formerly 4265028M1 and now 4265028M2. Wondering if this was an issue and they beefed up the casting.

Has anyone else cracked a housing in this spot?

Thanks for any help,

Ron

I don't know about the lever part. The change to a m2 from a m1 means there was some kind of change. It could be very minor or it could be a major overhaul of the part. Most of the time it will be something minor
