After much research and using a kubota for a week, I think I have settled on the MF GC series tlb. Is there any real performance difference between the GC2410tlb and the GC2610tlb. Local dealer has a 2410 for 16,800 now and will have more of both in August. I'm not in a hurry to buy right now. Any facts and/or opinions appreciated.

Other than a different decal and a different setting for the engine - they are the same machine.

Is that price with the 0% financing or the free loader promotion?

There are the same machine with slightly different RPM settings. This thread provides a good discussion of the tradeoffs between the two. It will come down to a slight bit more pto hp vs having to run the 26xx at a higher speed during pto operation. Of I recall correctly the 2610 was about $800 more than a 2410. That would buy a good quality box blade and a nice dinner out for the wife

Price is for free loader. Price for 0% was noted as "about 18500".

$16,800 is too high, IMO. Put it this way, I got prices from two dealers. The higher price I got was $15,800. :D

I'd get some more prices.

the dealer i bought my gc2410 from had 9 of them on the lot. they didn't have any gc2610 tractors because they don't even stock them.

btw, incredible fuel economy, and it never ceases to amaze me with the things it will do... kind of like watching an ant.:D

We only have 2 open MF dealers in Arkansas. One is about 30 minutes from me and the other is 1.5 hours away. Not a lot of choices in this area. We've had 3 close in the last few years.

I think they are amazing machines but there is no way that I would spend so much money on so little machine.

For Bruce Ward what would you consider a good price for such an "amazing machine"?

Yeah.. That is what I said 3yrs ago. Now I own 1:thumbsup:. I just wish I would have done it 3yrs ago:laughing:. I can get into places with this thing I could only have dreamed of going with my late Ford 3000. And to my surprise it does darn near the same amount of work!!
