firstly, hi everybody, my name is Bob and this is my first post. i have a 1967 mf2135 and am planning on purchasing a gc2410, but i have a few questions...
the brochure doesn't list tire sizes or wheelbase length, also i wonder how many of the major components are cast iron versus aluminum.
as well, i plan on getting a set of tires for brush clearing on my acreage and a different, mounted, set of turf tires for working around already developed (lawn) areas. i have looked at the r1 ag tires and the tread doesn't look aggressive enough. i have seen offshore tractors with 'rice paddy' tires. i think this tread would be a better idea for rough terrain, especially given the light weight of the tractor. the problem is that they don't seem to make those tires in small enough sizes to fit the 2410.
i'm guessing the 2410 has 12" of some sort but the smallest rice tires i can find are 16".
btw, the closest mf dealer is about an hour away.
