Hello all, this morning started out ok, right up to the point where I lost my hydraulics. I shut the tractor down and looked underside of the machine and sure enough I broke the hydro filter off, half of the nipple went with it. So much for seat time today, I was brush hogging at the time. Is there an easy fix or should the front of the transmission come off and be replaced? I plan on doing the work myself.

Well, I followed the directions indicated on another thread and bought the Kubota part. $13 for the part, $12 for the tap, $22 for the drill bit and I am back in business. It did take 3 hours to do the job, something about drilling a hole in the transmission and tapping the hole. I did not want to mess it up, the price for a replacement cover for the transmission was close to $500. Thanks for the heads up on the Kubota part, you guys saved me a ton of money!
