Well, I don't know how the OP made out with his bh, but yesterday I found myself in the same situation. After connecting and reconnecting and getting pretty much all around frustrated, I come indoors and did a search, and found this thread. I helped me. (Thanks tsteahr) The 3ph lever was in the down position.
