GC2400 Mulch Kit for 60"mmm

Don I agree they put those on for a good reason. I want to put it back on but on top of it spraying the grass better it's a heck of a lot easier to maneuver around things. W/o it I can get up close to trees, bushes with both sides of the mower.

If I had know this mower was so non-user friendly I may have looked at the Kubota better. I hear they have a mulching mower.

Confirmed with Gator that they don't make a blade that will work with this size mower.

The MF salesman told me that the mower chewed up the grass so fine I wouldn't notice...I should have known he make it sound good. He hasn't been as helpful since we completed the deal either.

Still looking for mulching blades if anyone has any suggestions.

No need to have orange to get the mulch mower... Massey makes one which is what i have. Maybe they will take your mower in on trade for a mulcher ??

Madhatter, if you don't mind can you give me a thorough run down of the mulcher. Previous posts regarding that mower were not very favorable. Two sets of blades?

Also, I believe it's only 54" and I'm really interested in 60". Maybe that will be something I will sacrifice.

I asked the dealer over a week ago about mulching blades and he has yet to get back to me. How long does it take to talk to the parts dept?

Have a look at my previous post:
GC2310/2310 54" Mulch mower

I do like the mower, however I think it needs a bit more "lift" of the grass it cuts ( as I get a few windrows ), hense getting some gator blades for it, I looked at the Gator / Oregon sites and they make blades that seem to have the same dimentions I need, I just would have to run with the 3 blades, instead of 6 ( large and small blade on each spindle )

I went with the 54" due to some hilly areas I have, and the fact I can get close to objects as there is no chute.
