I'm not familiar with the Jinma chippers, but I have an old WW Grinder, Super Apache chipper (3-4" max) that works fine on my 2310. I can engage the PTO standing beside the chipper. However, I'd suggest starting with the RPMs low because it engages with a snap, then you can increase the RPMs to whatever you need. I usually run the engine at ~ 2,600 when chipping.

That's why we tipped our seat forward and pulled UP on our seat switch.
That is why we bypassed ours, with a jumper.
Problem (for us anyway, may be good for others.) solved.
