I just went to the dealer and was going to see if my tractor had the fel on it yet so I could go down and do the paper work on it monday and I saw 2 '07's both with fel and one with a bush hog tiller. I was dealing on a leftover '05 with only 1.5hr on it and I was wondering if it would be worth the extra money and how much extra money to get the '07. I don't know of any upgrades from '05 to '07 does anybody else know of any, and what about trade in value later, is 2 years going to make that big of differance?

The 05 vs the 07 is probably easily justifiable in the interest rate iteslf if you are financing........

I think that they are starting to include the filter guard as standard equipment. I think there are subtle differences but I am not sure.

I told them to install the filter guard and it already has the tach, and side exhaust but don't know of any other things to look for?

I believe the newer style front guards allow clearance to open the hood without moving the guard out of the way. I bought mine in '04 and must raise the FEL, pull the top 2 pins out to lower the guard before opening the hood.

I know that there are going to be some design changes to the GC2300 but I don't have a date for the changes to take off; maybe 2008.
I know they are redesigning / relocating the yellow flasher lights mounted on the rops so they don't get damaged, the headlights so they are not blocked so much by the brush guard & putting grab handles on the fenders for extra operator safety along with the filter guard as standard equip. That is all the updates that I know of but there may be more; the dealers no nothing about updates yet but will be the first to see the changes through MF.
I suggested that there should be some type of rear hyd. connectors on the rear for rear hyd. items and that is also being researched. The man I talked with at MF was very interested in what we as owners want / need and is well worth going to the MF page and emailing them with any comments; they do listen and respond.

61flattop,
Mine did not come with the filterguard from the factory. I had the dealer put it one before it was delivered to my house. However the other dealer that I had been talking to said the 2310 that she just got in already had it installed and it was factory installed as standard equipment now.
