I think your confusing the mid PTO with mid LIFT. You can run a snow blower off the mid PTO and still not affect the rear lift. You can also run the REAR and MID PTO at the same time if you choose. Im pretty sure the lift of the snow blower or broom will be controlled by the hydraulics for the buck but I don't have either on mine so not 100% certain. I know the front blade is.
