Bought a Tractor Supply Carry All (1000 lb) for my tractor and the bottom links are set to high on the carry all. I only get about 4" of lift. This is not sufficient when you are lifting a heavy load and get deflection and some linkage play. Its a drag, literaly. Anybody else have this type of issue and how did you fix? Because I don't have welder I'm thinking of just drilling some new holes lower on the frame and use a rod for a pin from one link to the other. Think this is sufficient?

If you can't shorten the top link, I'd say drill new holes down low, but watch that you don't end up binding the top link with its new geometry.
